About Yoshinogawa Gokujo
The Yoshinogawa Brewery offers patrons the Yoshinogawa Gokujo, a Ginjo sake from the Niigata Prefecture. The drink is made with the Gokyakumangoku sake rice which is milled 58%. This gives the sake its delicate flavor. The Yoshinogawa Gokujo smells of melon and cream. You can also detect fennel. It has an unusual fruity taste of pineapple, plantain and pear, with an interesting touch of herbs, which give the drink an unusual and lasting flavor. The medium to full body drink is smooth and silky and every sip is a pleasing experience. It pairs well with spicy dishes.
