About Mieno Kanbai
The Mieno Kanbai is a Ginjo from the Maruhiko Shuzo and the Mie Prefecture. It is made with the Yamadanishiki sake rice. The brewery is known to use underground water from the Suzuka Mountain to brew and ferment the drink at low temperatures. This gives the drink an awesome taste. The sake has a soft and rich flavor. It tastes of chocolate, honey and hazelnut. Interestingly the sake takes great when served chilled as well as warm. At different temperatures the sake reveals a slightly different flavor. The Mieno Kanbai taste great with food like teriyaki and yakibuta.
