The Miyasaka Shuzo of the Chubu region offers sake lovers the Masumi Nanago, a Yamahai Junmai Daiginjo. The English name of the sake is ‘Celebrating # 7’ or ‘Seventh heaven’. The Masumi Nanago celebrates the ‘#7 yeast’ that the brewery identified and isolated. The drink is of the Nagano Prefecture and uses Myamanishiki sake rice. The drink has an alcohol content of 16.5%. The brew is rather delicious and offers patrons great depth as well as clarity. It is full bodied and rich, and has a notably earthy aroma. It is best served chilled with cheese, tofu and mushroom preparations.
