About Kame Izumi
Kame Izumi means the ‘turtle spring’. The brewery is located in the hills close to Tosa Bay of the Shikoku region. An hour’s drive from Tokyo brings you to this traditional brewery that is friendly and welcoming of visitors. The brand offer junmai ginjo which is dry and offers a subtle sweetness. It may have an alcohol level of 8-15.5%. Some of its popular products include the Kome-Kome Shu or the ‘happy bride’ and nigori ginjo, ‘summer snow’.
It should ideally be served according to the patron’s preferences, chilled or warmed. The drink can be paired with most foods. Experts recommend that customers enjoy it with simmered vegetables and seafood such as steamed crab.
